Motion to ban all Objevtivists from the Universalis if it is ratified. We will sniff them out by making them write critical responses to the Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. XD

^ Lol  Razz . I will vote for this because my Imperial Party's platform supports some of these ideas IF some changes can be made to the bill.

- The President position is renamed "The Dean of the Orientalium". Only because too many presidents might be confusing.

- The position should hold the same term limit as other positions. Otherwise, we could have someone hold that position with little accountability. Also, should be subject to the same process of impeachment.

That said, I like the idea! Congrats on the proposal, I just got my first one passed the other day.  Smile

1. I am going to keep it President, because a Dean is in charge of only a specific subject. I will change it to Chancellor instead.

2. It is not a government position though and has very few administrative powers outside the Orientalium. I would say a limitless term and potential for impeachment with a 75% majority.

Based on the fact that it encourages education and scholarliness, I will vote for this. My political party pretty much agrees with this completely.

As far as I am concerned, this bill doesn't violate the constitution, might aid in building regional activity and morale and meets any concerns for accountability. Therefore, I'll endorse it as a positive force in the region! A solid piece of legislation Qikiqtaaaluk Nunaavut !

It means to say that morality is not a concept of human perception, but an abstract ideal seperate from man like... I dunno... Like the concept of life. We don't imagine life exists, it just does. The problem with that is that the human mind is the only mind that science can definitively say adheres to morality and considering the idea of what is right and what is wrong widely differs from society to society, objectivism is completely invalid in my opinion. That's my interpretation of it though. Ask a philosophy major who's studied more than I have and they might tell you something different.

I would like to say that if this passes it would be good if it has its own sub-forum.And if whom ever has been appointed Chancellor of the Orientalium should be made moderator of that sub-forum.

Well, here's some options.

1. Vote here. Voting will be open until Monday. Rather than "yea" or "nay", one will declare their choice for the position or vote "Abstain" for a none-of-the-above vote.

2. Since I have admin I can set up a vote on the NS forum as Churubusco suggested. In that case, everyone should contact me with their bid for candidacy by tomorrow and I'll open voting up tomorrow and let it run until Monday.

3. Battle Royale, winner takes all, fight to the death!  Laughing
